Art movement of riflessismo

An art form that requires that you transfer human behaviour in an artwork that mainly reflects weaknesses and negativity.

The previous century has witnessed a technological evolution much greater than the rest of time, but we can not say the same for the planet, human action often leads to negative behaviour such as selfishness, hedonism, oppression, injustice, intolerance, indifference, hypocrisy and fundamentalism to name but a few growing negative phenomena.

Reflectionism states that art should serve not only to generate visual, tactile and hearing pleasure, but also to reflect human weakness and  discomfort, in such that the observer is inspired to react against, challenge and overcome  these weaknesses and negative influences.

Thus the art work must convey a message of condemnation and outrage, a “scream of Munch” and at the same time inspire the positive thought necessary to effect the future in a positive way.”

En kunstform som krever at du overfører menneskelig atferd i et kunstverk som i hovedsak reflekterer svakheter og negativitet.

Det forrige århundre har vært vitne til en teknologisk evolusjon mye større enn resten av tiden. Vi kan ikke si det samme for planeten vår. Menneskelig handling fører ofte til negativ atferd som egoisme, hedonisme, undertrykkelse, urettferdighet, intoleranse, likegyldighet, hykleri og fundamentalisme for å nevne noen voksende negative fenomener.

Refleksjonisme sier at kunsten skal tjene ikke bare for å generere visuell, taktil og auditativ glede, men også reflektere menneskelig svakhet og ubehag, slik at observatøren blir inspirert til å reagere mot, utfordre og overvinne disse svakhetene og negative påvirkninger.

Dermed må kunstverket formidle et budskap om fordømmelse og raseri, som et “skrik av Munch”, og samtidig inspirere til at den positive tanken er nødvendig for å påvirke fremtiden på en positiv måte.

In my work with “after 22.July” I became aware of something I always have known, but never have stroke me that hard. I had to wait on the roses to die. It is a sad thing, but now I discovered that it was a rare beauty in it. I wish we all will look for that beauty in old age. Find the beauty in aging.
